Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 8, 20261. Our Commitment
Renuir UG is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility standards, in compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG).
2. Accessibility Standard
This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide array of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, language, learning, and neurological disabilities.
3. Conformance Status
We believe this website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to achieve full conformance.
4. Measures Taken
Renuir takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:
- Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
- Keyboard navigation support for all interactive elements
- Sufficient color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA standards (minimum 4.5:1 for text)
- Alternative text for all meaningful images; decorative images are marked accordingly
- Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements for keyboard users
5. Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some content may not yet be fully accessible. Older PDF documents may not be fully screen-reader compatible. Some complex interactive components are being reviewed for keyboard accessibility. We are actively addressing these issues.
6. Feedback
We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you encounter any barriers or have suggestions, please contact us at accessibility@renuir.com or call +49 (176) 3230-3721. We aim to respond to feedback within 5 business days.
7. Enforcement Procedure
If you are not satisfied with our response to your accessibility concern, you may contact the Schlichtungsstelle nach § 16 BGG at the Bundesministerium für Arbeit und Soziales (BMAS). The arbitration body is tasked with achieving an out-of-court settlement of disputes related to accessibility. More information is available at www.schlichtungsstelle-bgg.de.
